The Color Storm Quilt (72” x 72”) is part of the Step Up Collection. Each quilt in this collection focuses on teaching a new skill in a fun, quick, usable project. The idea is that you will use each skill over and over again during the course of the project so that by the time you have completed it, you will have mastered the skill and can easily put it to use in another project. These quilts also make great gift quilts since they are primarily throw size and are simple to construct. ColorStorm focuses on two at a time half square triangles, a valuable skill that reduces fabric waste.

-1 Layer Cake or (32) 10” by 10” squares 

-Background Fabric: 2 ¼ yds 

-Binding Fabric: ½ yd (optional if using a Layer Cake and scrappy binding option) 

-Backing Fabric: 5 yds 

-Batting: 80” x  80”
